hey
Just signed up and look forward to what I can learn from this site.
I was recently gifted a Sprint 8830 but my current carrier is verizon. At this point not sure what I am going to do.
I heard the recent lawsuit will force Sprint to give the unlock codes but will V put it on their network?

Welcome to CB!
As to a Sprint device on Verizon.....Verizon probably wont activate anything without it being branded "Verizon".

Welcome to the addiction! Lots of great info, helpful people and even humor to be found here. Enjoy!
Not sure but Sprint doesn't use SIM cards in their devices so I don't believe there is a way to unlock it.
