I bought a new BB 8700 yesterday. I like it a lot. Last night, I tried to recharge the battery but it did not work. About 2 hours later, it shut down. Today is national holiday. The shop where I bought my phone is not open. Can someone kindly help me with my situation, please?
If you were charging it with a USB cable, try using the wall charger. USB ports can't always charge Blackberries. If you were using the wall charger, try another one. Any cellphone wall charger with a miniUSB plug will probably charge your phone, and won't hurt it if you try. Finally, try a USB cable. If none of these work, you've probably got a bad battery or charging circuit and will have to visit your store tomorrow.
