I'm a relatively new BB user (an 8830) - a convert from a Palm TX. I've been having trouble running Roxio Media Manager that came bundled with the desktop software. Although the dekstop manager and the 8830 both indicate that the BB is connected to the laptop, Media Manager does not show anyt device being connected. On top of that, the Media Manager is slooooooowwwww. Any advice on how to fix the problem? Are there better alternatives to Media Manager out there?

    Thanks!

When you connect your device to Desktop Manager (or should I say, the pc), you'll get a message on your device, "do you want to enable mass storage?". Select YES. That will allow the PC to see the memory card and the internal memory in the BlackBerry. Thus from here, you can copy and paste at will...

If you don't get the prompt, from the device, go to options / media card / make sure media card is on, and media support is on...
