I've had Blackberrys before, but my company just issued me the new shiny silver Blackberry 8830 World Edition thru (get ready for it) Verizon...
It's basically email for me, I'm not a power-blackberry/crackberry user, but I'm on here looking for tips, tricks, and additional usage advice so I can get the most out of the device.
The first issue I came across was the LACK of real GPS on the Verizion issued version of the 8330, despite turning the location feature on. WTF are they thinking? Are there any real workarounds for this other than the crappy teletubbies looking Verizon maps app that I refuse to pay for?
Thanks, and I hope to lurk.. er, um - benefit from the knowledge already in place here.
I'm also a newbie here and I'm learning a lot from this site, I still getting used to with my new toy here I'm not that really got with new gadgets but I'm starting to love my new Blackberry.
