Almost quick background - I've had a BB for work for a couple years but it's pretty much locked down & we aren't allowed to play with it.
So 2 weeks ago, I wash my old cell phone in a sleep-deprived hurry to deal with kids & babysitters. So I find a 7130e on ebay that no one seems to care about & it just kept calling to me. So for a small pittance plus shipping, I have myself a BB.
Sadly, I'm only getting the most basic phone use & address book info out of it since a data plan upgrade isn't in the budget right now. But soon, so very soon, I foresee a data-filled future for myself and the wife. She has already stated her jealousy at the wallpaers & ringtones I've accumulated in 3 days.
I predict that there will be 2 very happy BB users when our current plan expires & we can both upgrade to something a little nicer.

I was impressed at how much I learned just going through the Lecture 101 series in the How-to section. Between that & hunting around blackberry.com for the correct OS & Desktop software, I actually knew answers to some of the questions down in the 7100 forums.
