    Hello all,

    I used to have a Bold 9000 (trackball) as my daily driver for some years, my father gave it to me, it was my first smartphone. Used it until 2013 when it bricked temporarily. I managed to recover by some USB tricks I found somewhere in the internet and wipe it clean and reinstall it, however it was dead several months later. I knew that either the charging port was loose or the power chip was dead, but by then my generous father gave his Nexus 4 to me, which I gladly accepted (broke student can't be choosy he he) ... I'm an Android user now, but from time to time I visited CB just to read the forums ... apologize for any grammar snafu as English is not my first language.

    Wow, you used Bold 9000 till 2013? Awesome. It was my first smartphone and my first BlackBerry, that phone made me addicted to BlackBerry and never bought any other phone other than BlackBerry. I have a Jolla as well.
