I recently received a Sim free 9700 as my UK upgrade but I recently moved to Ireland.
I have contacted all the providers here in Ireland and no one will provide a sim only Blackberry plan without me buying a handset which sucks!
So I googled and I thought this would be the best place to find out about custom service book entried in order to use my awesome new phone without BIS/BES.
My Irish contract has 2gb worth of data that if I can tap into without BIS, I will be delighted.
Spending a lot of time reading about both the above and indeed using the Native email client without BIS also via the shangmail platform.
Hopefully once Im up and running I can learn what else I can do with my new toy!!
