I have recently come into the Crackberry world with a Curve 8330. With only having if for a month, I don't think that I could go back to "just a phone".

I do have one quick question, how do you keep e-mails from disappearing on the Crackberry? I assume there must be a setting somewhere? The e-mails stay on my laptop, but after I open them on the BB, they seem to go away?

The site is great by the way.

With your Messages screen open, use your Menu to go to Options, then General Options. Scroll down near the bottom and you'll find the setting on how long to retain your emails. Have fun!

You should have 12mb minimum. If you're below that number you should reset your device. Alt-right shift-5elete. Ill get a link for you for memory management.

When the file free memory runs low, your device will attempt to make room on it's own. The first thing it starts to delete will be your call logs and messages. The tutorial at this link will help you make sure that never happens.

I assumed your problem was memory related because the minimum email setting is keep for 15 days.

When you go to your email icon and open it, if you BB button click on options and go to GENERAL does it say "keep messages forever?" Also make sure that the "hidden" options say "no." You may want to have "confirm delete" say YES just to be on the safe side. Hope this helps :-)

Wow, thanks for the help, it is late now but I will look into this in depth tomorrow. Now one other question, I had some laptop issues today, Vista I had installed the Desktop manager 4.5, vista didn't like that. I had to uninstall and re-install. Now I think I went through all the steps, I sent service books, but I can't reconcile my work e-mail. The BB email works fine, but I can't get any e-mail from the integrated account. Any help here would be appreciated. I will have to look into the 101 tomorrow. When I connect to the BB Desktop manager 4.5, the little check box for reconcile messages is grayed out.
