    I got a hand me down bb pearl and am not sure how to delete the previous owners email address. I went through email set up and it says there is already an account that exists and I am not able to create a new one till the old one is gone. Please help!

    Congrats on the free Berry!!

    You might need to talk to ATT and have them release the PIN for the device in order to get rid of the default email.

    P.S. If you are on ATT you must be using the 8110 or the 8120 Pearl... there is no way you are using the 8130

    Honestly I didn't know what model I have. I just picked one. I don't have the manual for it either. Thanks for the advise.

    You will need to call AT&T to reset.

    On you BB though, you may have to go to Options --> Advanced Options --> Service Book

    In here you will delete the previous user's email address. There should be two per email. One ending with [CICAL] and the other [CMIME]
