    Nice, I was just curious cos I lived in Barnsley for a few years

    You asked about msn, I think it can be downloaded from mobile.blackberry.com from your BB. Go to your Browser and click on Blackberry help which takes you there.

    If that doesent work you may be able to get msn through here as the stand alone msn is a little troublesome to install I beleive.
    WebMessenger Inc.

    Another option is Jivetalk which has to be paid for.

    Well it's free and you can access msn through it I beleive.

    I don't use instant messaging so hopefully someone else will come along with advice for you.

    Are you aware that you only get 6mb of data with Orange's BIS plan?

    I tried it out - worked pretty well for a couple months, then would lose connection too frequently. It did work with MSN and most of the others, just became too unstable.

    Well..... I used almost 50mb last month. I get 200mb with o2 for 10.

    Download this data counter (if you want) which will count your useage in bytes but you can change it to Kilobytes. so you can keep an eye on it.

    1024bytes = 1Kb, 1024Kb = 1mb.

    MiniMoni - Traffic monitor for BlackBerry

    Check your Operating System Version first. Go to options > about. You will see something like 4.2.1.93 or similar, if so download the mini moni for 4.2.

    You can buy another 30mb from Orange for about 7.50 though.

    If you got your BB from the shop and they didn't point out the 6mb allowance you may have a case for being miss sold something. Also you should have a 14 day cooling of period or something where you could take it back if you wanted.

    02 & T mobile have the best BIS prices, Vodafone is as bad as Orange.
