    Hi Everyone and All!

My first and actual BlackBerry is a 9620. It brought me here, because I need to make the email service work and it's not that simple for me.

It's a great phone in many aspects. I need a kind of unbreakable phone, with less functions.

There's someone that still uses this model or similar?

Anyway, this forum is full of great information and very organised. Thanks for this opportunity.

Does your carrier still offer BIS data plans? That’s a basic normal requirement.

    Right,

First of all, can this model (9620) use a Wi-Fi network to connect or just with some 3G connection?

I ask my carrier about BIS plans, but they are telling me that it is not necessary. I think the problem is that there is no more BlackBerry users around.

However, there is a site vivo.blackberry.com on air, but it doesn't recognize my numbers.

    Thanks!

    Hi again otaodoamor ,

Yes you can use wifi by going into:
    Settings/Network and Connections/Wi-Fi

Tap to turn on, and search for your provider in the list that comes up.

Once you lock in your connection, proceed to:
Settings/Accounts/(Click the + ) to add Email account.

Actual settings can be provided by going to Google and searching (provider email) server settings.

Pop those details in and you will see it try to complete the syncronisation, then your done.

Now all emails will be set to turn up in the hub.

    Hope this helps
