As an 'older' non-technical phone user in the UK (light personal use, non-business) I have finally decided to give up on my aged Curve 9320 and have moved up to the last-but-one generation by buying a sim-free Keyone.
I have a new micro sim to install in the Keyone and link to my current Vodafone number; but can anyone explain to me in words of one syllable how (or if) I can transfer the data from my 9320 to the Keyone? At the very least, all my contacts...
I have the Blackberry Desktop Software on my laptop, and can back up to that easily enough.
    Thanks in advance...

BBOS 6 and 7/7.1 both have a device transfer tool included. Launch the device setup application called "setup" and you'll be able to backup pretty much everything in a single sweep, then with the appropriate application on the android side, restore the backup, just choose contacts to restore, and uncheck the rest.
