How many and how long did you use a cell phone running Palm OS?
What is it you love about the BB most, other than the corporate email they were designed for?
I think it's prettier, but I don't have much use for colors or Icons, I want to see text and numbers now. That reminds me, how do I get text to list under each icon on the 8330 so that I can see what each of those goofy little pictures are supposed to be for? Is there a 3rd party program that will allow me to list them that way, with text lables? There are lots of things I like about the BB but so far the Palm still seems better for getting to what I need fast.
For popularity and romance, BB wins, it's what the corporate power players where givin by their companies, bringing an image of success and power and thus desirablity for both men and women. People that never had a pda phone before started wanting a BlackBerry for the image even thought they had no clue what a PDA was, let alone ever used one. Where as the Palm, having been more of a real hand held computer, brought up images of computer geeks. But as a PDA or Hand Held Computer the Palm is still capable of far more, faster and easier. But then one model of the Subaru Impreza can out-excelerate and out-courner a corvette. But for Image the Vette wins, even if it's not as capable.
I'm sure I will learn to like it more than I already do but so far it's very frustrating having to scroll and push so many buttons and go through so many menus/pages for something that only took one or two button pushes with the Palm.
