Hi all,

I've been a heavy iOS user in the past, since the first iphone. I grew tired of the simplicity and relative inefficiency of the OS recently and have become a Q10 addict in a short time. I love my device and do not regret it one bit. As a "communication device" I feel it's unparalleled and I'm happy to join the forums. Hope I can contribute to what seems to be a great community.

Just curious, what made you decide to switch over to a BB10 phone and especially a Q10, since you have been an iPhone user for so long?

I just hear all the time that the BB10 phones are too complicated and I tell my friends that they need to really give it a try for more than 10 minutes on a demo phone.

Hi sxchan. Great question. I switched because many small things were adding up to be big annoyances. Auto correct, screen lighting up for notifications, sheer size of the device (I like small phones), non existent multitasking and the efficiency of BB10 are what drew me in. I realized how little I actually use applications and the Q10 seemed perfect.

A close friend works for BlackBerry in Irving, which is close by. I had the chance to play with his "work phones" before the q10 was released in the US and fell in love nearly instantly. So here I am!

Yes, I should have mentioned the battery life! All day heavy use (by my standards at least) and power to spare.

Ahhh love at first sight !

I was actually waiting for the Q10 as well but couldn't wait any longer so I opted out for the Z10 and I'm loving it because the intuitive keyboard and the prets design are awesome. I used to hate all touch phones but I must say the Z10 exceeded my expectations. There are lots of tips and info within the CB forums and if there's something you can't resolve, don't hesitate to give us a buzz~!

I have had both the z and the Q and for my usage the Q is better. I will happily give up some real estate for a real keyboard.

But there is no "better" phone. They both are amazing.
