    Oh, then get:
    1. Viigo
    2. Beam Berry
    3. The respective IM application that you want (Yahoo, AIM, etc)
    4. EMpower 's HTML Viewer
    ...ok, who's next?

How do you download #1 and #2?

I have Yahoo IM but when I try to log in it doesn't accept my id or password and I KNOW I'm typing them in correctly!

Better than changing settings, the first thing to do with your BlackBerry is just use it. Once you know where everything is and learn some shortcuts it's sooooo fast to use.

I've only had my Berry (Curve 8310) for a couple of weeks and I was just about to blog about this very topic.

I second the suggestion to bump up trackball sensitivity and getting JiveTalk if you IM.

I'd recommend picking up a charging dock and second battery. The second batteries that are standard capacity are really cheap. I also recommend getting the BodyGuardz clear film skins if you keep it in your pocket like I do. I got the full body skins- it comes with 2 sets of films + an extra screen film. It's nice thick film and it dries super clear.

If you have AT&T(Cingular) service you can go to yellowpages.com/mobile and have the yellowpages at your finger tips!!

this is so a ploy to get more people to use this function so it's easier for me to sell ads here, since I work for the yellow pages!

I used the DataViz for WinMo before I got my Berry. I wasn't impressed at all.

It's interesting you say that because my hotmail account gave me no problems when I set it up, and has worked without a hitch since then.

I'm happy to see that I an a true addict - I'd done about 90% of the things suggested here before reading this thread! (didn't make love to it though... )

You've probably had a hotmail account for more than 7 years or so, right? that's usually the only way it works.

Question about upgrading! Yes, I just got my first BB Pearl 8130 and am already looking forward to the Curve when Verizon get's it . Anyway, since I just extended my contract another 2 years to get the Pearl at a discount, what do I do if (when) I want to get a new one, which I know will be like in 6 months . Thanks in advance!
