Files Free / File Total

I'm using a bb 8830 with BIS and received hundreds of emails - mostly spam - and quickly used up 2/3 of my file space (based on the numbers I see when I run Options / Status).

I deleted most of the files on the handheld (which is where I thought the file space was) but haven't regained the file space.

Is there another location where these files are stored?

You could remove programs that you don't use, or ever use for that matter...

Also, try a battery pull, and I bet you get some memory back! (check the numbers before doing the battery pull, and after)...
