hi i am new to blackberry and this might sound like a silly question but how to i sign out of my email account once i set it up?
i cant seem to find an option for it

There isn't anything to sign out of. It's an active connection. New email is automatically pushed to your BB.

Why would you want to do that? You can set the security settings such that you can lock the phone to prevent unwanted access to your emails and other information on the phone. If that is what you're concerned about.

but doesnt push drain battery?
i wanted to know if i could sign out so i can check manually and not have push drain my battery

Not significantly. It's one of the core parts of the BB experience.
