Hi all! I work IT in an office and am trying to convince them to buy everyone a Blackberry (we have only 1) however we noticed that there was a problem with the emails that we receive, but not what we send.

Whenever someone downloads their emails from the server, it takes our month/day/year format that we have (we are in America) and then changes it into International format (day/month/year)!! That means that today all the mail received looks like it came on December 7, 2007 instead of July 12, 2007! However, when we send email out from the Blackberry shows up to people citing the correct date.

    How do I fix this?

    Thank you!

The language being used on the device is it English - American or English - UK?

Try swapping, and see what happens...

I'm having the same (well, opposite) problem. My dates show up US style MM/DD and I want them DD/MM which is the proper way

almost got me in a sticky situation at work as it said my boss was back 01/02 which i interpreted as the first of feb, when in fact it meant the 2nd of jan

I've tried switching the localisation settings about, and nothing changes.
