I use to have a Moto Q and in outlook it always had at the bottom of the outlook screen a calendar icon and under it it said the persons name and/or birthday and/or it said anniversary. So on my curve on the contact page it would say at the bottom <<(name)birthday>> or <<(name)anniversary>>. So I went into my phone for 1 hour and deleted all the typing that was in << >>. So I went to sync my VZW 8330 today before I left work and it said sync 149 entries changed or whatever it says. So I looked and it was people with birthdays syncing and appts not contacts.
So I accepted it.
Now when I got home I looked at tomorrows appts and all my appts and birthdays and anniv are duplicated.
What did I do? How do I delete one of the events so I only have single events? Please help!

I think you did a two way sync essentially putting what's in outlook on the device and VV. You may need to do a one way sync from either outlook or the device, whichever has the master info on it and set it to erase all other data on the other. Then once both have the same data, you can resume two-way syncs. That's what I had to do.
Thanks, it is weird. I went on my phone and deleted all the birthdays, anniversary and appts that were duplicated. I then did the two way sync and it said delete 96 items, I confirmed and that is fine.
I now just go on my phone to 10/6/2009 it is my wifes b-day and her good friends also. On my phone it says both birthdays, but on the PC Outlook on that day it says nothing. What is going on? Should I just make sure everything is on my BB and then change the config to sync from device to pc and will that delete my outlook calendar and then replace it with my phones calendar??
Ok, I came to work today and I looked thru my phone and I have all the master info for my calendar on the VZW 8330 Curve.
I went into the BB desktop manager. I went to Sync -> Config
I set it for One way sync from Device -> Outlook
and I also checked "Replace all data in the target application"
I did a sync.
Now I have all the master info still on my phone, but NOTHING in outlook. So now what do I do to get the master info from the phone to Outlook? Please help, I am getting frustrated...
