Do I HAVE to use outlook to manage my contact on my desktop?

Hey Group,

I've had my pearl since Christmas and have yet to be able to manage my contacts very well on it.

What I would like to do, is to use the Palm Desktop software that came with my Palm T|X. I don't really need to palm much anymore but I like the desktop software.

That being said, If anyone knows of a simple Palm-Desktop-like software app that will sync directly to the pearl, I'd be willing to give that a shot too. (free is good) I Don't care much for outlook but most things i've found so far are telling me that to use pretty much any desktop manager, I have to run it through outlook.

Another thing i'd like to do is be able to sync it with AirSet (airset.com) but that is really secondary to the first need.
