Is there a way to group my contacts so that I dont have to scroll through hundreds of contact?
I am a big time rookie!
    Thanks!

There sure is! While in address book hit Menu>New Group. Then, add the contacts that you wish.

Very recent new BB owner - yeah, this took me awhile to figure out as well...
I have a Verizon 8330 Curve, this might work for yours:

    address book> new address>(enter persons info)>hit blackberry menu key>categories.
From there, you can assign people into different categories you define.

Once done, inside your address book, hit the BB menu key & goto "filter".
select one of the categories, and the address book will display those contacts you've assigned by category.
As a note, when you've keyed "filter" you can hit the BB menu key again, and enter new or delete categories.

I haven't played with the "Group" thing yet, but I'll have to try it (thanks srplummer). Only had this thing 2 days- still learning!
    hope this helped.

Not that Groups isn't the right thing to do, but if you're scrolling through hundreds of contacts you can also just start typing the person's name and it will instantly filter your list. That's why it says "Find:" at the top. I didn't notice that at first.
