i actually already posted a few things before having introduced myself, how impolite of me, especially considering that i will probably frequent this forum often to help me with the q10 and maybe also help others once i gain expertise.

my gadget craze began with palm, and i was a graffiti enthusiast - took me a while to start using physical keyboard devices, which were gaining in popularity around 2003. back then i was annoyed that full touch palm devices were being done away with. now i cannot do without a physical keyboard and i refuse to be converted back to full touch devices. not having much of a choice in this touch world, i am now trusting blackberry as my only hope to be able to continue enjoying the comforts of proper keyboard and a smart and open smartphone - and until now i am impressed.

so hello blackberry friends, lets enjoy the new OS and hope that blackberry continues to support us keyboard lovers.

hi,

am thoroughly loving the q10.
after having managed to port most of the useful android software onto the q10, i can pretty much do everything with it. and i am patient and hopeful about some more good native apps to turn up some time in the near future. this device appears to have a lot of potential and i would love to use it for at least 2 years before i get tempted to get what is fancy in 24 months time

Welcome to the forums, first things first, I will do some free promotion for CrackBerry.
The thing I would recommend downloading first for your Q10 is the CB10 app.
Also, if I were you (unless you are a "do-it yourself" kinda guy) check out this forum: "BB10 Tips, How To & FAQ" you can learn a lot of stuff about your device!
