Hello All,

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330. I often receive text messages while on a call. However, when I attempt to respond or either send a new text message or an email, my message is never sent thru successfully. I always get the big red X. Does any one know if there is a setting that I need to change to be able to send my messages while on a current call?

please help as I am fairly new to the blackberry world.

Sorry but you can't send a text msg while on a call. It's do to the CDMA technology. You can't send and receive data at the same time. As long as you're on the call (technically receiving data) you can't send a txt or any form of data until you hang up.

This happens when using the browser to like when it stalls for long periods and doesn't load a page (something is being pushed to you while your trying send a request).

Wow - you learn something new everyday. I guess I've never tried this - but it wouldn't have occurred to me that it wouldn't work.

It makes 100% sense, but I guess I just didn't consider it.
