    Hi all!

Just wondering if you can open zip files a BB natively or can I/would I need to buy extra software?

    Thanks!

    Brandon

I just tested it and sent a zip file to my BB and was able to open up a pdf file that was in there so I guess the answer is yes (as long as it's a recognized document format on your BB).

Hmmmmm... These were zipped pictures of my friends x-rays.

If the short answer is no, Jenay, then what's the long answer? Is there a program for it or anything?

    Thanks!

    Brandon

There is a 3rd party app called aerize explorer 2008 that will let you compress and uncompress zip files stored on a memory card like a file explorer its setup as a trial but I havent been asked to purchase the program as of yet
