Hi, I am going to Cuba. Does anyone have any experience with using a cell phone in Cuba. Do they sell SIM cards to local networks at the airport the way they do in other countries. Thanks

Yes, you can purchase a sim card from any ETECSA office in Cuba for a rental fee of 3 CUC per day. Then you will need to buy phone cards in either of 2 denominations, 10CUC or 20CUC. Once you have the phone cards, you just punch in a code and you're good to go.
Also, your blackberry will have to be unlocked. I just returned and used a 8310 and it worked fine.
