Hi All,
I am new here I am looking to becoming a full fledged addict like many you here. However before I begin my journey i need a BB. So I have decided to go the route of used. Do you guys and girls have any useful advice for me when buying a used BB. Things to ask and look for? I am looking specifically for a Pearl and I am on a GSM network with Rogers.

Welcome... some questions to ask...
Any physical or liquid damage?
Is it Rogers branded or unlocked GSM?
How long was it used from?
Any scratches/dents/knicks/chips? (Yes a lot of people consider physical damage to be separate)
Question for you: Where are you getting it from?
First off thank you for the reply. I will consider all these things.
I was planing on getting it from Kijiji or Craigslist as there are a few good ones posted in my area. Do I need to be concerned about the pin number as well

well there is so much to look for...... make sure the bb is not bricked,not stolen and able to get connected..
i do believe you can get some used blackberry's on here

How would I go about checking the pin number and if there is one. What can be done about it? Also should I be concerned about the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)??
