can someone let me know if an unlocked cdma blackberry z30 will work on the boost mobile cdma network?

Welcome to the forums, CDMA phones don't unlock, they have to be flashed to work on Boost's
network and accepted by the carrier. Not sure if they will support it, though.

The Verizon Z30 is sold Unlocked. Unfortunately the only CDMA carrier it will work on is Verizon. HOWEVER it will work on GSM carriers such as AT&T, TMobile, Straight Talk, etc.

I was a boost mobile customer for a couple years. No complaints until BB10 devices came out and no announcements were made that they would be carrying them at any time.
I got a z10 and moved over to T-mobile prepaid recently. Best decision I made.
If you can, consider the options at At&t and T-mobile. Verizon doesn't support 4G devices on their prepaid service and seem to be the last carrier to push out updates as well.

Of course with CB you don't need to rely on the carrier for updates.

They are put on a machine and a different loading is done for the network they will be attached to.
