Just got my first blackberry, the storm, and my question is to do the blackberry chat do u need to set up a blackberry email address even if you already have lets say a gmail account?? also is there anywhere to buy apps for the blackberry?

NO you do not. You have a BB and a pin # that is enough. You can but apps hwere from the app store on home page, or handango.com or mobihand.com. there are other but those are the main ones i use. I thinj cm app store and mobihand are connected.

In BBM choose add contact. Enter their pin and wait for their acceptance and away you go. PIN me if you want to,

You can also put the mobihand.com Icon on your Storm and shop directly for apps from the phone.

Where And How Do You Get This Pin Number?

On the Curve, its under Options|Status. Probably the same on yours. I just set up Messenger between my bb and the wife's. Very cool!

Your PIN number can be found in several places. 1. On the lable on the box it came in. 2. When the keyboad is showing press the alr Shift and H keys at the same time and the Help Me window opens. Your PIN is listed there. If this does not work look in the User Manual.
