Hi I'm still learning this BB pearl day by day. I searched already but couldn't find anything. Is there a way to have a reminder pop up on your phone when its a persons birthday if you only put there bday in the address book and not the calendar. Basically I don't want to have to add each persons bday into the calendar as well. Thanks for the help in advance.

You can add birthdays to contacts in your address book! This will add their bday to your calendar automatically. You can also set alert sounds for said reminders.
This is how it is on my Curve. i would think it's the same with your Pearl.

Thanks. I actually updated my sprint os to 4.3 anf now it works when I do it like ya said. It wasn't working on the 4.2 os for some reason but thanks for the help.
