BBM uses data so you will be using international data which i'm sure cost more!

I thought since it's a pin message it has nothing to do with data or a phone number so it wont fall under those rules.

BBM and PIN messages use data.

so i will be charged for international data usage not international messaging, which will come out cheaper than texing .50 cents for texts and .0195 cents for data usage???

Sounds like it, but I'm not exactly sure. I hear international rates, no matter what the type, can creep up on you.

yea, AT&T said that BBM is charged as data when international. the only thing is how much memory a BBM is to see if its worth paying the extra $25 or just hope my bill won't come out super high

bbm is about 1kb per message so that shouldnt be a problem. Your email however will. Personally I have heard some horror stories about the charges so I would pay the 25 for peace of mind.
