Hi all. I've just gotten my first BB (8830 Verizon) on Tuesday and I'm still learning about it's features. Can anyone tell me what 'automatic volume control' is and under what conditions one might use it? Thanks in advance.
I wasn't aware that the 8300 had that feature, it's a noise cancellation whereas if you are talking on the phone the caller can hear you clearly and the volume will auto adjust so you can hear the caller in an outdoor or general noisy environment. Instead of adjusting your volume key, it take care of that automatically for you.
I thought only the BB Curve had this feature, nonetheless it is an excellent feature to have.
