Trying to set up my husband's work email on the bb. I entered all the information regarding email address password website that he used for Outlook web access and it tells me that I need to set up an account on BES. I attempt to do that by entering esn # and pin # and I get a message that says "Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BIS." Well I am using the device.

It can be done in a couple places, but your best bet is to go to the setup wizard. Choose email setup, and choose that you want to setup a email with a BlackBerry Enterprise server, enter the username and password, and be sure to verify the account before moving forward..
I chose email set up where it says i want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server it asks if I got a password from my enterprise server administrator and i said no. It says to contact adminstrator for password or if you need to install blackberry desktop software. I bought this phone from some one else but have two CD's. I assume this desktop software they are talking about is on one of the CD's.

SUCCESS!! I downloaded the desktop software and was able to configure his work email address.
Now the big test; to see if he receives any emails on the bb or not.
