Hello peeps, first post so take it easy on me.

Really looking at getting this phone in the next day or so. However I'm toying with this and the Nokia N95. The bit that would sway it for me is if the Pearl can cope with GPS (sort of TomTom style route planning type thing)

Now I know it can be possible with an external Bluetooth device. But will the 8100g hack it? Is there a non subscription based service (One off fee is ok)that is compatable with the device?

I only know monthly fee's for GPS service. Why not stretch a bit for the 8800, with built in GPS?

The stretch of the wallet isn't an issue, it's the stretch of my pocket. The Pearl is nice and slimline, yet offering most of the features I'd want from a phone.

The GPS is only for use in my car so I'm not too bothered about an external solution.
