A friend is trying to use a 7290 that was used before by another person.

The thing is that the first owner of the 7290 just changed to a Pearl without erasing his accounts and configuration from the old one.

Now if we want to erase his accounts from the 7290 we will affect the first onwners accounts.

Is there an easy way to just reset the Bberry without affecting the 1st user?

Just wipe the handheld. The only way it will affect the first owner is if you mess with the account on BES.

On the main screen click options / security options /general options, click trackwheel (twice?) and click wipe handheld.

If those instructions do not satisfy the what you are trying to do please use the search feature and search for wiping the device.
