Since this is my first BB, I bought 1GB. If I need more later, can I transfer the information on that one to a larger card? How would I do this?

Drag everything from the old card to your pc, then from the pc to the new card.

I have a 4 gig card & my current usage is only 100 mb. I guess if I store movies (I don't) that would eat up the storage.

i have 2gb and it's 70% full right now - i downloaded a bunch of tv shows etc. to watch. before that, it was plenty for songs, ringtones, pics, etc.

what do you think that 12 gig will go for?

..like $200 when it first comes out? $250?

I'm not real cheap...but I'd buy ten 1 gig cards for that...

Yep, no doubt its going to be big $$$$

I'm guessing between $200 - $225 when it launches, judging from current cost of the 8GBs.

Way too pricey for my blood.

1 gig is not enough for me because my gps program needs over 500mb by it self. Its all the audio files for the street names in Australia.

movies and videos eat way way more memory than music...so if you want to download a lot of movies I would go with a bigger card...

but a 2 gig card will hold a LOT of pictures and ringtones...

there has to be some sort of ceiling for cost wherein it is no longer prohibitive...that is..will not sell..right?
