It all depends on what you want. I personally use a text editor (AZR Text Editor because it's free and automatically opens files from file manager, but I'm sure others do this as well), combined with just opening the html files in the browser, but if you want code highlighting then there is an IDE called DeuterIDE, but I haven't tried it yet so I can't comment on whether it's any good. If you're looking for a full IDE with a graphical interface and the ability to edit without going into the code, I don't know of any, nor can I think of any way that would work on a mobile device.

There is Wordpress... But I'd just use that to maintain a site, and post, etc... You actually use a smartphone to design (and build?) web sites? What phone do you have now and what apps do you currently use? Or if you have a Z10 now, what phone did you have? Sorry, just totally curious.

Anyway, here's the link to Wordpress:

What would you like to design?

    The UI? Interfaces/buttons/graphics, then no.

The html css & js? You can use some text editors, and side load an android FTP app to transfer files to your web server.

I don't think that mobile devices have enough screen space to reasonably do that...

Really touched by this compiling for me. I need to design a new site, lugging a laptop around is not good.

    Ok,

Right now its "barebones" (just a proof of concept). So no drag-and-drop items. No access to file saving. But it is a raw WYSIWYG at least.

Will update once I get time I have a big app due for a company this weekend, so will try to get something better out --- but no promises in case I don't!

Only two buttons left to complete later (Save and Open)

Just finished saving and loading last night. I sent the official release to Appworld (HTML Edit HD) and got the approved email this morning. Which means its in appworld now!

Ill PM you the full ver for use as a beta tester . I might add a no-save version into appworld as trialware.

    Very cool Kerm!
Just as a side note, docs to go lets you edit .txt files, which can then be renamed.
I did make a simple WYSIWYG editor (https://appworld.blackberry.com/webs...ntent/20396608) based on CodeMirror, which is also in my github (https://github.com/SCrid2000/SCrApps-WebWorks-BB10-Apps). Somewhere in the neglected back corners of my mind I intend to improve on it, but I've been sidetracked by other ideas. It was funded by the portathon, so it's free. But I warn you, it's very bare bones.
Definitely not as good as Kerm's app, but if you want alternatives there you go
