    I've installed 5.0 .230 yesterday. Everything works fine but I can't find BBM 5.0.

I installed it from appworld, reinstalled, pulled the battery a couple of times, archived the app, restored it, deleted it...

The application is somewhere on the phone since I'm able to uninstall it from my application.

I'm running out of imagination here

    Please help. Thanks

Are you sure it's not hidden or in a different folder than where you think it is?

What version of BBM 5 are you trying to install? did you get the newest version from http://www.blackberry.com/messenger

He said he installed from app world so I would assume it's .33

I had the same issue. It wasn't ANYWHERE on the phone, although it was in the applications list.

I reverted to the default Zen theme, and still not there.

Deleted, reinstalled 5.0.0.8 and that shows fine.

Would be interested to hear/read just where .33 is, for those of us who can't see an icon for it anywhere.

Thanks but I've selected the option show all to make sure.

    Robrowald you're a life saver

I did download bbm again but from the web browser this time. I received the usual do you want to replace BB5 .033 with this BBM5 .033.

The only difference from App world is that there was an option to reboot the phone. On appworld it would only say BBM was installed successfully.

After the reboot the icon was exactly where is was supposed to be 'Instant messaging'.

    Thanks again.
