About time they started pushing the bbm thing.

I will always have a blackberry because of bbm. Me and my friends have a group going on there, if you don't have bbm you miss out on everything.

It looks like BBM6 is a major upgrade. Scoremobile integrates, looks like other things do too. I'm going to contact a vendor that has been doing a lot of things by txt for a product we use and see if he can use BBM so international txt'ing isn't used.

I love the push blackberry is doing with bbm. Righjt before the imessage crap. So much better and now its even better because of app integration. Its like rim is trying to make a complete mobile only social network.

Could you kindly explain how it is crap? I don't know if you're a developer who received the iOS5 beta seed and experienced using it, I'm just genuinely asking since I'm evaluating all platforms for my next purchase.

Anyway, BBM6 is a pretty significant upgrade and the direction it's going in is promising. So far the "BBM apps" are news, entertainment, social networking and games. It would be great if there's a solution to collaborating with multiple people on documents and presentations. I would think it would be useful to students doing term projects.

You mean besides simply sharing the files...that would be huge....like a "cloud" collaboration network within BBM...

I don't think this is an actual TV commercial, is it? Has anyone seen this on TV?

I wonder if stuff like dropbox and sugarsync will get into the BBM connected game. I think those could be some solid BBM Connected apps.

Yep, that would be earth-shaking Edit a document file in the cloud, notify your partner through BBM and he can continue working on the edited file.
