What's the best way to fix slow-BBMing? My BBMs have been extra slow today, even when i have a full signal, and everything else works fine.

Also, what the **** does "battery pull" mean? And whats it for?

    thanks

Bbm service just may be a lil slow today. My messages aren't sending right away either. And a battery pull resets your phone. Its like a hard reset or hard boot on your pc. Its always the first thing to do if your phone is acting up. It clears out the memory on your phone and multiple other things. Just remember that your berry is a computer and all computers run best if rebooted ocassionaly.

The odds are good it has nothing to do with your BlackBerry. There may be some tempory communications problems, it will likely get better shortly.

A battery pull forces a restart. Temporary files and caches are cleared, restoring it to known good condition.

Will the battery pull delete my contacts? My settings? or just clear out temporary data?

no it won't wipe your contacts or your settings.
