In iTunes, you can edit the properties of an item (music, audiobook, podcast, etc.) and check the option "Skip when shuffling." Thus, when you are shuffling songs, that item will be skipped. This is obviously helpful for audiobooks and podcasts because when you're shuffling songs, you don't want to have to keep skipping forward every time it lands on an audiobook or podcast.

The question: is there a way to do this on my BlackBerry?

If not, is there a way to edit the properties of an mp3 to include info that tells the media playing program to skip that mp3 when shuffling?

Any hints? Looking forward to getting a solution for this. Same problem: i dont want audiobooks to be played when in shuffle mode.
