    Hi guys!
This is my first post here! .. and it's an help request haha!

I just bought a BlackBerry Torch 9800 from Telus and I want to delete native Telus "applications".

More precisely, I want to delete TELUS Navigator, YellowPages (TELUS edition), Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk.

As I can only Hide them, I tried to delete the Service Books associated with the different applications and it works. The problem is, they always come back!

Does anyone knows hot to permanently supress them from your phone?

    You can't.

As you have discovered, even if you delete the Service Books, the launchers will be pushed back to the device by the carrier. You cannot prevent this.

Note that they are not real applications. They are merely launchers and they don't take up much space.

Just hide the icons and forget they were ever there.

Or add a folder on the desktop, move the icons into it, and then hide the folder.

Alright! Thanks for the clarification guys!

I'll just hide them and deal with it. I hate not having control but eh!
