When I upgraded to OS6, I noticed that when I start to dial a number it goes into Universal Search. Is there a way to get an audible confirmation while dialing a phone number from the home screen?

When you dial the number just under the search bar you'll see the digits appear with a phone icon. I don't think there's an audible tone.

Yea. I knew it did that. Is there any way to disable the Universal Search and have it go right into the phone page like OS5 did?

The only choices are universal search or shortcut keys, which are better IMHO. You can always launch universal search by pressing s, or phone by pressing the big green button. Then carry on as before.

The only way to have an audible tone is to hit the green phone button then dial the number.
