    When installing the new bbm .54 it doesn't show up anywhere on my blackberry I can't find it. But when I go to options adv op app it is in there. Any ideas? Thanks

    Check to see if its hidden. Options>show all.... If you see it there, then just highlight it and go options and uncheck hide. Also check to see if you accidentally moved it into another folder.

    It should be in the downloads folder or IM folder. If it isn't hidden, then try checking all folders just in case.

    At the homescreen try pressing and holding the BB button for a second, is the BBM icon there? If it is, that means it is installed on your device for sure.

    What OS are you using? I thought I read that it was for 5.0 OS and wouldn't work on 4.7 OS. Try downloading it again? I downloaded it and it runs perfectly on mine, but I'm running 5.0.0.230 OS.

    Most likely your running 4.7.1 which this I'm pretty sure it's not compatible with

    yup. thats what it is i guess... i just ran a restore. so I hope that at least puts the old one back on for me...

    rebooting now, so we will see.

    It did state that it was for all OS 4.7 and above, but it does seem as though most of the people not runnning 5.0 are having the same issue as stated by the OP. Thats what happened to me twice. I'll just wait a month until it is official ans compatible for my OS. The update isn't that great where I need it right away.

    I'm running 4.7 and its not showing up, I looked and its not hidden anywhere, looks like its back to the official.

    I also have 4.7 and have tried redownloading and different things but it doesn't show up at all it only works on 5.0.

    I had to do a restore, but then that didnt work.. did a reboot/battery pull and it seemed to be back.
