    Hello

Just last night I upgraded my OS from 4.5.0.169 to 4.5.0.170. The update went fine, but I noticed that my BBM 5.0 was missing. So, I downloaded it again from AppWorld. When I went to install, it asked if i wanted to replace the current 5.0.0.33 with 5.0.0.33. I said no.

I then went to my Applications and saw that the BBM5.0.0.33 was still there, in addition to BBM 4.5. I deleted the BBM 4.5, did a battery pull and ran it through DM again.

Still no BBM 5.0. So, the BBM is still on the device, somewhere. I just don't know where to look. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to lose any of my previous BBM contacts, because I had like 50 of them.

    Thanks in advance.

sorry the contacts are most likely gone and if the icon is missing the only way to get it back is to reload the os

I figured it out. I deleted all the BBM 5.0 from the device. Then reinstalled the BBM 5.0. Then restored the info that was backed up by DM prior to the install of 4.5.0.170.

I now used the option given to you by BBM 5.0 of backing up your information via a email account.

    Thanks for your help.
