Hi, do I need to have BB Messenger installed on my 8900 in order to send/receive MMS?

no. mms is a totally different service that operates seperately from BBM. you should get an MMS plan before using them, seeing it can be anywhere from $0.25 or higher per MMS sent or recieved. i know some phones can send/recieve MMS without a plan and it just costs per use.

For some reason my 8900 doesn't have mms function. When I am in Message and click Menu, I don't see "Compose MMS" as one of the options.

Since the phone is on my company's BES, I wonder if they disabled it? I already found out that my company disabled the WIFI and GPS.
