I downloaded App World on my new tour 9630.
I then downloaded weather eye, but decided to switch over to weather bug elite (The paid one)

I uninstalled weather eye, in app world. And installed weather bug.
In the my world place however it still shows the app as being "ARCHIVED" and the app is also in my "Downloads" folder as archived...

How do I compeltely remove this weather eye off my blackberry as well as off my app world my world list.

    Please help.

Delete the application in App World and it will go away.

    Does not work.
It stays in there with the word Archived.

That's odd, that's all I've had to do with the ones I installed. Have you pulled the battery after that?

Nope, it doesnt work for me either.
    Battery pulls did nothing.
When in app world I delete and it asks "are you sure" and I say yes but it is still there archived.

I have the latest BB App World. I tried to delete an archived/uninstalled app and used QP. The app is showing as uninstalled.

From my understanding, there is no way to get rid of an app from "My World" once installed. If it is uninstalled it will remain in "My World" with a status of "Uninstalled" so it can easily be installed again. The only way I know of getting rid of the app that was uninstalled from "My World" is to wipe your berry completely and then restore it with a backup file. Don't know why it is like this, but it is what it is...

It doesn't bother me enough to wipe my Bold. I am sure that the next BB App World update will probably include that feature.

Simple, options, advanced options, applications, delete from there. Don't wipe your blackberry unless it's a last option. That should not be taken lightly.
