Someone who has the 9700 did this to me...how does one do that? I sent them an MMS, and the reply message was "declined by intended receiver". sad! lol. just curious how that works.

    thanks!

Unable to download the data part of the message. Maybe sent to a GSM only device ?

They probably have the firewall on and blocked incoming messages.

    Firewall.

You can block out messages using the firewall settings. You can even set it up to accept messages only from the people in your addressb book, blocking out everybody else.

Can't you just go into your account like on Sprint and block people from sending messages and picture mail?

ok i get it as a setting....but he did it as a spur of the moment thing....

if he saw an MMS come in from me and changed the setting before actually opening the MMS, would it give me the declined message? would the firewall apply to a message that has already entered the inbox, but not been viewed?

(btw, he was declining it just to mess with me lol, this is not a setting he normally has, and has received other MMS from me before and after...)

thank you for your responses guys, this was just a curiosity, i have NEVER received that message before!

this seems the closest answer, as with a firewall, he would not have received the MMS to decline in the first place. however, can you help explain how i got a response saying it was declined? what did he do on his on to make me get that message?

    thanks furballz!
