i have just downloaded blackberry messenger (BBM) 5.0.0.8 for my Curve 8310 from web. download & installment process working well.
after rebooting, i can not find the BBM icon on the menu list.
so i can not open the application. however the software of BBM Ver 5.0.0.8 is ready in the application list.
all remaining application is OK, and have no problems/error.
is there somebody having such experience? can somebody help me?

okay do a battery pull on your phone.
go back into your apps list and see if there is any sign of BBM or it might say BBM fix 8330/.77 delete the application. Then follow the link I posted and it should load no problem.

and yea you will always hit yes for every question.

i had this same problem as well. the fix is to go to applications and delete it off your phone then re-install.

it seems to have a problem installing over an older version
