Was just wondering whether there is any way of extending the 147kb memory limit on BBM chat history files.

Currently I just try to back-up the .csv files fairly regularly (and have created a program which interprets them better than excel) but it is quite a hassle and I was hoping there would be some way of editing perhaps the software, or creating some kind of automatic back-up app which would automatically save the over-the-limit messages to a new file.

I know the current BBM does this (with the .OLD files) but they are overwritten once a new .OLD file is needed so that isn't very useful.

Any idea's on how this is achievable?

Why don't you write a program to automate the whole process?

If you mean automating the backing up of the files, I could do but that still involves remembering to connect the phone to the computer regularly and connecting the phone is always a lot of effort.
