Recently Email Setup Application was officially updated to 6.11.0419.0755

In the 7.0.0.115 leak there was a newer version that works fine with OS6 - v6.11.0516.1613.
Nobody has posted it separately for download, so here it is:

Desktop Install: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! [Recommended method]
    OTA Install: Email Setup Application v6.11.0516.1613 [OS6+] - Downloads - BBH-Plus Forums

Try at your own risk - but this definitely works on 9800 - OS .570+ (what I've used it on, carrier is Telus) and therefore should work fine on 9780, 9700, 9300, 910x - other devices I'm not sure about. Your results may vary depending on carrier as well.

I recommend a backup before installing, just to be on the safer side - I normally just inject the .cods into any Javas I'm about to install or after I've installed and restored.

Post if you notice anything different after installing this.
    Enjoy!

OTA installs just fine to .600 for 9700

However, it will NOT work if you are on Vodafone NL.

    Thanks Lyricidal for sharing !

Could it be you ran into the same issue I did? It didn't want to work until I injected net_rim_bis_client__pt_BR.cod back into the device.

Still having problems here... For some reason, I can't use the contact sync part for the native bis gmail sync. Only calendar works... It's been so since I tried this .600 java swap.

I don't know. I simply cannot connect to the BIS server to edit/add my e-mail settings.
I'm not planning on tinkering with it any further, so I'll pass on injecting that cod you suggested.
I do appreciate the help though !

Cannot connect? As in, it loads and does not work?

In my case, it didn't load at all until I injected the proper language cod. Let me find the post where I uploaded ALL of them and link here...

EDIT: Really sorry!! Here is the link! http://www.4shared.com/file/KWd0Vfhs..._client_2.html

Installed the latest version OTA over the previous leak on my 9700 with OS 6.0.0.600.

Seems I have have bricked my device. It won't get past the splash/loading screen.
Any ideas on how to recover (besides re-loading the OS ?)

I just recovered by wiping and re-loading my OS.
Then injected the cods with BBH Tool. Up and running now and working that is !

OTA install must have killed it for me I guess.

Installing with a fresh reload also works just fine.

Me too. It is like reliving a nightmare isn't it? I'll post if I figure out a solution or stumble upon one...

EDIT: "Try removing and adding your email account back and then test. ^RK" << I mean REALLY?!

EDIT 2: "Try to go through the following clean application load process: http://t.co/z37YC9f Test the sync before restoring any backups ^RK " << Well I did the hardcore version (BBSAK wipe) a few times with no avail. Could work for other thou, so try and post back!

Let's see if they have any more ideas. Still hoping for a fix.

I tried several times adding and deleting email accounts... unfortunately I don't have the time or energy to perform a full wipe just "in case". Anyway this is my last bb... Android is much more integrated to google apps.
